Increase your business's KNOW-LIKE-TRUST
factor with Social Media
Marketing!
Making good use of Social Media Marketing
(SMM) can help boost the know-like-trust
factor for your business by:
- Enhancing VISIBILITY - Social
networks open up new venues for businesses to
find and be found by prospective clients and
supporters. These networks are robust,
growing worldwide arenas:
- Facebook
now has
350 million subscribers and gains 500,000
subscribers daily. The fastest-growing
demographic: women over age 55.
- Twitter
"tweets" are indexed and appear in Google
search results.
- Increasing LIKABILITY
- Social
networks allow businesses to engage in
one-on-one conversations to build
relationships with prospective clients and
supporters.
- Increasing CREDIBILITY -
Social
networks enable businesses to showcase their
expertise by
answering questions and posting tutorials and
videos. Clients
can also weigh in with testimonials which
validate expertise.

| Does Your Website Stand Out in a Crowd? |
You may not have heard the term "favicons,"
but if you spend time on the
Web, you've seen plenty of them. Favicons
are tiny
images (16 x 16 pixels) that represent
your
website or blog as visitors surf between
websites.
The image above shows several tabs
open in a web browser window. Each tab has a
favicon to the left of its
title.
We routinely provide our clients with a
favicon (short for "favorite icon") for
websites we develop.
Favicons enable website visitors to
quickly locate your site among several open
browser tabs (or among several bookmarked
websites in the bookmark/favorite list). And
being visitor-friendly is
a top priority for any website!
A favicon, as an extension of your
organization's brand, is usually a
simplified version of
your logo, your website colors or other website
imagery.
Placing a favicon on your website is one small
step you can take to help
visitors find your website on a busy
day - and adds a finishing touch which
reinforces
professionalism and extends brand recall.
Check your website in a browser tab. Does it
have a favicon? Is it uniquely
representative of your brand? Are you missing a
favicon or any other visitor-friendly features?

that help us operate more efficiently. But
one tool, Evernote, overshadows others.
We use it every day and many times a day,
whenever we want to save information to refer
to later.
Evernote, which has a free-to-use

lets you create and store notes with
information that you find worth saving and
